Camarasaurus lentus, skeleton plaque

A sculpture of the skull and skeleton of a juvenile Camarasaurus lentus found in 1917 during the Carnegie Museum’s excavations in what would later become Dinosaur National Monument. The skeleton remains the most complete sauropod skeleton ever found. This juvenile Camarasaurus measures just 17 feet in length and was only about 1/4 adult size when it died.  See item no. 128 for a life-size sculpture of the skull of this specimen. This replica comes ready to hang.
